to the Triad Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators website. The Triad consists primarily of 3 cities—Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point. The Triad is home to the nation’s largest Furniture Market, the Moravian community of Old Salem, as well as the oldest law firm in North Carolina.

In 2008, which is the 20th Anniversary of the Triad Chapter of ALA, we were 26 members strong.  Our members represent all sizes of law firms in North Carolina, including some as large as Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC in both Winston-Salem and Greensboro, and Brooks Pierce McLendon Humphrey & Leonard, LLP in Greensboro.  Our goal each year is to grow our chapter, as well as strengthen our vendor relationships.

Our mission is to enhance the knowledge and professionalism of its members through high-quality education programs in legal management, and to provide timely information which will enable members to perform their jobs more effectively and efficiently. By becoming a member of Triad ALA, you will be offered valuable networking opportunities that will enhance your visibility and credibility as a legal administrator.

The Triad Chapter is active in the community, receiving awards from Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) National for the chapter’s participation in the Community Challenge Weekend Project.  We have installed siding on a Habitat House in Forsyth County (as seen in the picture below), assisted the YWCA in High Point by painting some of the interior areas and providing a general fall clean-up, worked with Bell House in Greensboro to get their outside fence spruced up and assisted at Habitat Restore in Greensboro.
